Relative’s visa

A relative’s visa may be applied for by a family member within the first and second step of kinship of the South African citizen or permanent residence holder.

The South African citizen or permanent residence holder must provide proof of the prescribed financial assurance.

A Relative’s visa is issued for a maximum of two (2) years at a time.

Tourist visa

Section 11 (2) visa

A Section 11 (2) visa is commonly known as a short-term work visa. This visa is used for short-term projects to be conducted in South Africa for up to 90 days.

Relative’s visa

Long-term visitor’s visa

A long-term visitor’s visa may be issued to a foreigner who intends to conduct activities
