Exchange visa

An exchange visa may be issued to a foreigner who –

1) Participates in an exchange programme organized by an organ of state or learning institution in conjunction with another organ of state or learning institution.

2) Is under the age of 25 and has received an offer of employment in South Africa for no longer than one (1) year.

Exchange students need to comply with the relevant prescribed requirements of the immigration law.

A long-term visitor’s visa may be issued to a foreigner who intends to conduct activities
